Social Medicine Reading Group

The Social Medicine Reading Group meets weekly for about an hour to discuss a piece of literature that participants jointly selected and read on their own over the course of the previous week. Although the discussion is hosted by students, any interested individual is more than welcome to attend. Our articles have been primarily academic in nature, but have also included popular media, speeches, and material associated with health care reform movements.

We haven’t have an active social medicine reading group recently, but if you’re interested in helping us get it going again, that would be awesome! Just be in touch and we’ll get things started.
